Founded in 2010 in the Región del Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins, Energía Pacífico is an electric power company, which provides non-conventional renewable energy from biomass fuel.

We have an existing capacity of 15.6 MW that allows the generation of 130 GWh of clean energy and more than 300,000 tons of steam each year. We supply 100% of Papelera Pacífico S.A. electricity consumption, paper mill, subsidiary of Empresas Coipsa; and the remainder energy is sold to the Sistema Interconectado Central (the Grid).

The fuel we use to create electricity is biomass from different sources, such as agricultural biomass, urban pruning and scrap lumber, in the central region of Chile. Thereby, we reduce CO2 emissions and we generate clean sustainable energy for our industrial processes.

We are part of Empresas Coipsa, which over the last 40 years has been dedicated to give life to waste.
